Its primary purpose of the text is to provide novice researchers and those new to mixed methods the tools to design, execute, and evaluate a mixed methods research study.

An Intro to Fully Integrated Mixed Method Research includes 9 exemplars from diverse fields in education, human development, and health. The selection of exemplars was made with the intent of sending the message that you do not have to be an expert in MMR to produce an exemplary publication. It requires a working knowledge of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research design and procedures, as well as the conventions of academic writing. Exemplars include publications produced from dissertations.
